Our highest specification waistcoats, meet three important standards; ISO 20471 Class 2 for high visibility, EN 1149-1,3,5 for anti-static protection and EN 11612 A1, B1, C1 for protection against heat and flames. EN 11612 supersedes the European standard EN 531:1995. The new standard specifies performance requirements for garments made from flexible fabrics which are designed to protect the wearer’s body, except the hands, from heat and/or flame.
